What is KidsGames?
The Best Kid-Thing on the Planet
KidsGames is definitely the Best Kid-Thing
on the Planet! It is about having fun, playing sports and games, meeting new
friends and learning new lessons all in an action-packed program.
In KidsGames YOU get the chance to be a
sports hero, a performer in dance or music or maybe even a World Champion!
What is KidsGames?
KidsGames is like a Major Sports Event
(like a World Cup or Major Sports Competition) but in your city. Sometimes it happens
right across the whole city, sometimes in your village or suburb. Sometimes it
is huge and involves thousands of children, sometimes only 50 or 100 children.
It doesn't matter how big or small, it is still KidsGames.
KidsGames has a fun and spectacular Opening
Ceremony at the beginning with everyone involved. You have march-in parades,
banners, sports, fun games, songs and lots more.
Then for 5-10 days or weeks you meet in
separate locations at a school yard, church hall, local park or at a field. At
these times you play together with other children playing fun games and in
Sports competitions. If you don't like sports you can do creative rehearsals of
dance, drama or music and prepare for the big Closing Ceremony. Some KidsGames
even have a KidsMedia group that report on KidsGames, writing stories, taking
photos or drawing pictures.
KidsGames also do special compassion
projects. This means caring for other people by visiting them in hospital,
cleaning up a public oval or raising money and food for orphans.
The whole KidsGames ends with a Closing
Ceremony with Sports finals, award ceremonies, creative performances and even
World Championship events!
KidsGames normally happen every two years
(or sometimes every year).
It is so much fun and you'd be crazy to
